This training includes the following components.
In this module, you will learn about literature reviewing and searching articles using research databases. You will also learn to create your own research topic in your area of interest.
You will have the opportunity to improve your research writing skills. You will learn to write and improve your research proposal. You will also have an opportunity to receive expert feedback on your research report or thesis.
In this module, you will learn to create a research poster. You will also learn academic presentation skills and get feedback on your presentation from academics. You will also have an opportunity to share your research poster with other fellow researchers.
Research discussion will provide you with the opportunity to participate in research discussions with other researchers and improve your critical thinking. You will participate in research-based discussions on our online discussion forum and share your views on the research problems.
Online mentorship sessions will be organised monthly to provide you with career development opportunities. You will get the opportunity to discuss your research-related issues and get career guidance from senior researchers or academics in the UK.
You will learn about scientific journal submission guidelines in your field and their requirements. You will be provided with the task to follow the author's guidelines for journal submission including referencing styles and templates of the manuscript.
Free eBooks and research papers will be updated each month on our virtual learning platform to increase your knowledge. eBooks on research management, research writing, and various scientific fields including medicine, biomedical sciences, AI, and engineering, etc. will be provided.
This online training is delivered on our virtual learning platform (Moodle). The training is self-paced and it can be completed on your own schedule. There is no exam in the training. However, you will be given research-based tasks and skills development tasks to complete. This training is designed in collaboration with the academics and researchers of Cambridge Centre for Innovation and Development, UK.
The training is for all levels of students and professionals. A background in any science-related field is highly recommended.
All our virtual training and courses are taught in English. You must have good English language skills. However, no official English language certificate or no English exam is required to participate in this training.

After successfully completing compulsory tasks of the training, you will be provided with an e-certificate of completion including details of your virtual Student Researcher (Research Training) with total duration (number of months you remained subscribed for this training) at the Cambridge Expert Training Forum.
Please note, you are required to stay in Student Researcher (Research Training) for a minimum of 3 (three) months continuously to get an e-certificate of your training experience.
Q. Can I participate in this training along with my full-time work or study?
A. Yes, you can participate in the training online part-time along with other full-time studies or work. It will include tasks to complete on your own schedule. However, it is recommended to give 3-4 hours per week for learning and acquiring research skills.

A. Unfortunately, we do not offer scholarships.
